5. AI-Specific Data Handling

AIFinNav uses artificial intelligence to process your financial data. Here's exactly what happens:

• Your data is not used to train AI models. Individual financial data submitted to AIFinNav is used only to generate your specific outputs (forecasts, reports, analyses). It is never used as training data for our AI models or any third-party models.
• Anonymized benchmarks only. Aggregated, anonymized financial metrics (e.g., average gross margin by industry and company size) may be included in our SMB benchmark dataset. No individual company can be identified from benchmark data.
• Third-party AI providers. We use third-party AI model providers (such as OpenAI) to process financial analysis requests. Data sent to these providers is governed by their data processing agreements, which prohibit use of customer data for model training.
• Data retention. Financial data you upload is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion. AI-generated outputs are retained for 12 months or until you request deletion.
